We’ve come across some lovely feedback in a community group about our Chatty Benches at @castlepointshoppingparkHere are a few words that have warmed our hearts:“I was at Castlepoint yesterday and sat down on the nearest bench with my two daughters to feed my little 5 month old her bottle. What I didn’t realise was I was sat on a ‘chatty bench’ - over comes the sweetest 91 year old man and sits himself next to me. We had the loveliest 30 minutes nattering about life - I think we both needed that little chat. He said he goes to a bench most days as he recently lost his wife and daughter so has no one else ☹️I just want to encourage anyone that has a spare 5 minutes to sit at these colourful benches and chat because who knows who needs that little interaction. Introducing Castlepoint’s Summer Garden! 🌞We’ve transformed a landscape void into a picturesque suntrap, complete with a big LED screen showcasing key sporting and music events all summer long!Customers can take a break from shopping and catch the action from a branded deck chair or picnic bench while enjoying delicious food and drinks from @castlepointshoppingpark’s fantastic selection of cafes and restaurants. 🍟🥤 So far, screenings have included Glastonbury, Wimbledon, Tour de France, and the Olympics.
