- With the 2024 Sceptre Awards approaching, we’re excited to highlight the projects our clients have been shortlisted for! First up: @thelionyard’s “We Will Remember Them” campaign, nominated for Community Initiative of the Year (South). This incredible initiative, which we ran in collaboration with The Cambridge Legion, Salvation Army, local regiment, and Cambridge Museum, raised over £36,000 for the Poppy Appeal during the 2023 Remembrance period. The campaign featured a touching service in Lion Yard’s atrium, with over 600 attendees and full support from local stores, along with a special WW1 & WW2 artefacts display that engaged hundreds of schoolchildren. - We’ve come across some lovely feedback in a community group about our Chatty Benches at @castlepointshoppingparkHere are a few words that have warmed our hearts:“I was at Castlepoint yesterday and sat down on the nearest bench with my two daughters to feed my little 5 month old her bottle. What I didn’t realise was I was sat on a ‘chatty bench’ - over comes the sweetest 91 year old man and sits himself next to me. We had the loveliest 30 minutes nattering about life - I think we both needed that little chat. He said he goes to a bench most days as he recently lost his wife and daughter so has no one else ☹️I just want to encourage anyone that has a spare 5 minutes to sit at these colourful benches and chat because who knows who needs that little interaction.
